Let’s face it; any technique that can gain you and/ or your company a competitive advantage cannot be ignored!
So, when it comes to your business card … make sure it stands out.
· Don’t focus on the money, focus on the quality
· If you spend enough time and demonstrate quality through your card people will believe you put the same amount of effort into your business
Business cards not only provide contact details – they represent you and your organisation.
People that you give your card to will form a first impression within seconds of receiving your business card (often before reading it) … so you want that impression to be a good one.
Here are a few tips to remember when designing and printing your business cards:
- Have someone in house create a catchy logo and /or design and layout for your card. If you don’t have anyone to do that … then just ask your printer
- Get high-quality, thick card stock that feels nice to the touch
- Apply foil or glossy finishes (if applicable) to catch your recipients eye
And do make the most of your cards – don’t be afraid to make them as a marketing tool.
